15 August 2017

In 2016, Chemtrix received a subsidy from LIOF as part of the LimburgMakers program (Project Number IP518CHE) to further develop the product Protrix®.  Amongst others activities, LIOF is responsible for development of the Logistics & Industry sectors on behalf of the Province of Limburg.  In these programs, LIOF's knowledge capital & network instruments come together through an integrated approach, supporting local entrepreneurs.

Within the LimburgMakers program Chemtrix developed Protrix, ceramic (SiC) Flow Reactor, suited for chemical process development at the lab-scale.  Protrix enables development of processes for the fine chemical, agrochemical & pharmaceutical industries - providing a directly scalable route to tonne-scale manufacturing in Chemtrix's Plantrix, Industrial Flow Reactors.

Fabricated from 3M™ Advanced Ceramics, Protrix offers unrivalled chemical resistance & heat transfer, features that are necessary for the performance of challenging Flow Chemistry applications.

This subsidy demonstrated trust in Chemtrix & in Protrix to significantly contribute to the future of Continuous Manufacturing!
